Tyson H. Appointed as Director of Human Performance at ŌURA

San Francisco, California, United States – November 2024 – Tyson H. has joined ŌURA as the new Director of Human Performance, marking an exciting chapter in the company’s journey toward advancing health and wellness. In his role, Tyson will leverage his extensive expertise in product management and strategic consulting to oversee and enhance ŌURA’s human performance initiatives, supporting the company’s mission to help people improve their health through innovative technology and data-driven insights.

In his previous role at Sparta Software Corporation, Tyson served as Chief of Staff and later as Vice President of Operations for nearly three years. At Sparta, he played a critical role in establishing company priorities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving operational excellence. Tyson managed the integration of Sparta’s operational systems and processes, which set the foundation for its acquisition by ŌURA.

Prior to his tenure at Sparta, Tyson held the role of Vice President of Sales, Operations, and HR at Brite Industries. During his time there, he was instrumental in formulating quarterly priorities, developing pricing and go-to-market strategies, and leading process improvements across sales and operations. His comprehensive approach to team management and strategic oversight drove significant revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Tyson also contributed significantly to Target as a Product Manager in the Consumer IoT and Voice Technology domain, where he led interdisciplinary teams in the creation and launch of innovative digital and IoT products. His work at Target included overseeing product strategy and developing roadmaps, which included hands-on testing and consumer interaction.

Earlier in his career, Tyson held product management roles at Narvar and Joyent, where he led product strategies that improved consumer engagement and operational efficiency. His role at Narvar involved overseeing the SaaS Returns platform, while at Joyent, he drove the development of next-generation cloud infrastructure strategies, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational enhancements.
