Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2024 – Ujjwal Sinha has been appointed as the Head of Marketing at Cashify, where he will lead the company’s marketing strategy and drive business growth across various verticals. With extensive experience in digital marketing, business development, and customer acquisition, Ujjwal is set to spearhead marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance Cashify’s brand presence and customer engagement in the competitive smartphone solutions industry.

Before joining Cashify, Ujjwal spent over five years at CARS24, where he held multiple positions, including Senior General Manager and later Associate Vice President – Marketing. He was instrumental in driving growth through optimized marketing strategies, managing the media and offline marketing efforts, and expanding the brand’s visibility across India.

Prior to that, Ujjwal worked at AutoPortal India for almost three years, where he served as AVP – Business Processes. His role included forming strategic partnerships, executing marketing campaigns, and driving business expansion. His data-driven approach contributed to the company’s growth and success in the competitive online auto market.

Earlier in his career, Ujjwal spent around three years at Tata Motors in various roles, including Marketing Manager for key accounts and the Nano Product Group. He successfully led marketing efforts for Tata Nano, established corporate partnerships, and contributed significantly to the company’s sales and market penetration.

Ujjwal’s career began at Neel Metal Products Ltd. (JBM Group), where he spent almost two years as an Executive-Marketing, gaining experience in business development, sales planning, and marketing. He also worked briefly at Kapoor Enterprises, where he handled project execution and client relationships, further developing his skills in business management.

In addition to his extensive marketing experience, Ujjwal has consistently demonstrated leadership and a strong ability to drive results, making him a valuable asset in his new role at Cashify.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
