DALLAS, Texas, United States, September, 2025 – Unifeye Vision Partners (UVP), an operator of ambulatory surgery centers (“ASCs”) with supporting practice management services in the ophthalmology industry, today announced the appointment of Mark Garvin as Chief Executive Officer. Garvin brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including most recently at Banner Health and previously at United Surgical Partners International (USPI). During his nearly 20-year tenure at USPI, he helped lead the business through multiple transformational growth periods via organic and inorganic strategies, ultimately building it into one of the largest ASC operators in the country.

“I’m honored to join UVP and partner with physicians and our teammates to expand patient access, enhance the overall experience, and grow our integrated ASC and clinic presence in existing and new markets,” said Mark Garvin. “We will focus on measurable outcomes, operational excellence, talent growth and a differentiated patient experience to deliver value for all key stakeholders across the organization.”

“The Board is excited to welcome Mark to UVP at an exciting time in the company’s evolution,” said Chris Graber, Partner and Head of Healthcare with Waud Capital Partners, UVP’s founding investor. “Marty helped lead the Company successfully during a period of significant growth, and the business is in a strong position today because of his great leadership.”

Martin Rash commented, “I’m delighted to welcome Mark to the team. He has built his career supporting physicians through ASC growth, operational improvement and physician recruitment. We are excited to have Mark lead this next phase of growth for UVP.”

Under Garvin’s leadership, UVP will continue to support the growth of comprehensive eye care practices through ASC development and optimization, physician recruitment, operational improvements and service expansion—aligning with the company’s mission to improve care and access in ambulatory settings.
