London Area, United Kingdom, February 2026 — Unispace has appointed Matthew Eastwood as Chief Executive Officer – EMEA, effective February 2026.
In his new role, Eastwood will lead Unispace’s EMEA operations, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and client value across the region. He will oversee integrated workplace strategy, design, and construction services, supporting clients navigating complex portfolio transformation across sectors including technology, life sciences, legal, financial, and professional services.
Prior to joining Unispace, Eastwood served as Global Chief Operating Officer at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), where he held enterprise-wide accountability for operational excellence and governance across a $21 billion business serving multinational clients in over 100 countries. During his tenure, he led major M&A integrations, technology transformation programs, and cost optimization initiatives that significantly expanded EBITDA margins and operational resilience.
Earlier at CBRE, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer, GWS | Local, steering a $4 billion business through rapid international expansion and transformation. He also previously held the role of Managing Director, Project Management EMEA, leading a five-year scale-up that grew revenue from $260 million to over $1 billion, establishing one of the largest commercial real estate project management platforms in the region.
Before CBRE, Eastwood spent nearly 15 years at Honeywell, including serving as Managing Director, Honeywell Building Solutions UK, where he led over 1,000 employees and delivered strong operational and financial performance. He played a key leadership role in major UK infrastructure projects and transformation initiatives.
With extensive experience in global operations, large-scale transformation, M&A integration, and commercial real estate leadership, Eastwood brings a proven track record of building high-performing organizations and delivering sustained growth.
