Singapore, May 2025 — Urvi Jobalia has been appointed as Global Head of Early Careers, Talent Deployment & Strategic TA Partner – Technology & Operations at Standard Chartered, further strengthening the bank’s leadership bench in global talent strategy. In her new role, she will drive end-to-end early careers programs, lead talent mobility, and provide strategic recruitment leadership for the bank’s technology and operations divisions.
Urvi brings with her over two decades of rich HR leadership experience spanning global talent acquisition, DEI, strategic workforce planning, and change management. Since joining Standard Chartered in 2022, she has led several strategic mandates including serving as Group Head of Talent Deployment and Global Head of Resourcing – Transformation, Technology & Operations, where she played a critical role in reshaping the bank’s future-ready talent framework.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, she had a distinguished nine-year tenure at Ericsson, holding various senior roles including Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Talent Acquisition for APAC, and Head of HR – Digital Services, Oceania and India. Her focus on inclusion, agility, and transformation consistently translated into robust people strategies across complex global environments.
Urvi’s earlier career highlights include leadership roles at Barclays, where she was instrumental in growing the technology workforce across APAC and leading large-scale HR system transformations. She also held key HR responsibilities at Accenture and Aurion Pro Solutions, driving employee engagement, performance management, and policy frameworks in high-growth phases.
At Standard Chartered, Urvi is now poised to shape a dynamic talent ecosystem, empowering early careers, elevating workforce agility, and enabling strategic hiring excellence for the bank’s global technology and operations platforms.
