Vaishnavi Shukla Appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at Tata Communications

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 – Vaishnavi Shukla has joined Tata Communications as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing with her over 17 years of experience in strategic HR leadership, talent transformation, and organizational development. In her new role, Vaishnavi will lead global HR initiatives aligned with Tata Communications’ vision of powering the digital future with secure and connected digital experiences.

Prior to this appointment, Vaishnavi was associated with Comviva for over eight years, where she most recently served as Head HR. She spearheaded HR strategies across diverse product portfolios and implemented employee engagement programs and talent management frameworks that drove growth and innovation across the company’s Gurgaon operations.

Earlier, she held the role of Head of Talent Management at HFCL, where she was instrumental in setting up the Talent Management function, aligning employee growth with business priorities. She also served as HR Business Partner & Talent Management Lead at Mahindra Comviva, where she led business HR for one of the most profitable units and implemented impactful initiatives in career development, engagement, and performance systems.

Vaishnavi also spent nearly five years at Hero MotoCorp, where she led performance management systems, training and OD, and large-scale engagement interventions. Her early career also includes critical roles in business planning, employee development, and training delivery, positioning her as a well-rounded HR leader.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the International School of Business & Media, Pune, and has completed the CHRO Programme from Indian School of Business (ISB).
