New Delhi, India, March 2026 – Varun Pasricha has been elevated as Chief Executive Officer of Excitel Broadband, effective March 2026. The announcement marks a significant leadership transition as Excitel enters its next phase of fiber expansion and partner-led growth across India.
Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2018, Varun has played a pivotal role in building Excitel into one of India’s fastest-growing FTTH broadband networks, powering over 1 million homes through 2,400+ partners across 50+ cities. Under his operational leadership, the company strengthened its partner ecosystem and accelerated its ambition to become the most loved broadband brand in the country.
Prior to Excitel, Varun held leadership roles at Zomato, where he led Sales Transformation and launched the global Partner Growth team, driving strategic partnerships and portfolio expansion across India and the UAE. Earlier at G4S, he led the Strategic (Large Enterprise and Government) Business in India, delivering strong portfolio growth and margin expansion while managing relationships with major corporates and government clients.
His career also includes roles at Max Healthcare, Indus Towers Limited, Synovate Business Consulting, and McKinsey & Company, building deep expertise across strategy, corporate planning, business transformation, and P&L leadership.
Varun holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
