Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Vasudev Maller has joined Reliance Industries Limited as Assistant Vice President – Procurement & Contracts, further strengthening the conglomerate’s procurement leadership bench. In this elevated role, he will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, and contract optimization across the group’s diverse operations.
Prior to this appointment, Vasudev served as General Manager at Reliance Retail for over four years, where he led the group’s supply chain commercials across multiple business verticals and transport modes. He played a pivotal role in building procurement collaborations and driving cost-efficiency and service improvement programs.
Earlier, he was Head of Raw Material Procurement at PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd., where he aligned procurement strategies with production planning while actively developing global vendor networks and alternate sourcing solutions.
Before that, Vasudev spent over 12 years at Piramal Glass Ltd, holding progressive leadership roles including Deputy General Manager – Logistics, where he received multiple awards for innovation and excellence in logistics procurement, including honors from the CII and National Quality Excellence Awards.
He began his career with Asian Paints and later worked with Praxair, Inc., Gujarat Glass, and other organizations, gaining extensive hands-on expertise in logistics, warehousing, export operations, and excise compliance across diverse sectors and geographies.
