Canada, May 2024 – Victoria Savchenko has joined Varcon Inc. as the Head of Human Resources, bringing her extensive HR expertise to the leading provider of communication site engineering, inspection, and project management services.
Victoria’s most recent role was as People and Culture Lead at Revenue Management Labs in Toronto, where she led the HR department, designed a comprehensive onboarding program, and implemented a Performance Review system. She also spearheaded initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, revamped the employee feedback process, and overhauled the recruitment process to enhance conversion rates for hires.
Before that, Victoria served as a Technical Recruiter at Shopify, where she managed requisitions, actively sourced and interviewed candidates, and implemented diverse hiring techniques. She also built strong relationships with hiring managers and onboarded, trained, and mentored new recruiters.
Earlier in her career, Victoria was a Human Resources Generalist at Hard Rock International, where she utilized HR knowledge to perform various tasks in administration, HRIS, training, and employee engagement. She also led recruitment efforts and guided managers during termination processes.
She began her career as an HR Intern at Scotiabank, focusing on employee integration activities during mergers and acquisitions, and contributing to the development of an HR integration playbook.
