Mumbai, Maharashtra – Vijay Sinha has taken on the role of Executive Vice President-HR (New Businesses) at JSW, effective May 2024. Sinha will provide HR Leadership for a range of burgeoning sectors within the company, including MG Motors;JSW Green Mobility; JSW One; JSW Ventures;JSW Realty;JSW Defence;JSW Sports; Copper Processing;JITPL;JSW Foundation;Museum of Solutions; New Age & Lexapar.
Extensive Background in HR Leadership:
Prior to this role, Sinha served as the Joint President-HR at Adani Power in Ahmedabad, where he led strategic HR initiatives and enhanced workforce policies to meet evolving business needs.
Sinha’s previous tenure at JSW Steel as Executive Vice President-HR (Manufacturing) saw him managing HR functions across the company’s extensive steel manufacturing operations, significantly contributing to organizational development and employee management strategies.
Before JSW Steel, he was the Senior Vice President of HR and Administration at the same company, a role held from October 2018 to January 2020, where he was instrumental in refining administrative and HR processes.
Sinha’s professional journey also includes significant roles at JSW Energy Ltd, where he was a Senior Vice President of HR from August 2010 to October 2018, overseeing HR policies and employee engagement across the company’s energy sector. His earlier experiences at Reliance BIG Animation and RKHS, along with a substantial tenure at Steel Authority of India Limited, where he was involved from October 1993 to August 2005, provided him with a robust foundation in HR leadership.
