Vikram Karwal Appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Marico Limited

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Marico Limited has appointed Vikram Karwal as its new Chief Marketing Officer, effective December 2025. In this role, Karwal will lead Marico’s marketing strategy across its diverse portfolio of beauty, wellness, and food brands, strengthening brand equity, driving innovation, and accelerating growth across India and international markets.

In his new role at Marico Limited, Vikram Karwal brings over two decades of deep marketing and business leadership experience across FMCG, innovation, and global brand management. As Chief Marketing Officer, he will be responsible for shaping Marico’s long-term brand vision and marketing excellence agenda.

Prior to joining Marico, Karwal spent over 13 years at Mondelēz International, where he held several senior leadership roles across India, Southeast Asia, ASEAN, Europe, and global category teams. Most recently, he served as Senior Director Marketing – Chocolates (Tablets Business), India, leading the P&L and marketing strategy for iconic brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, and Cadbury Bournville.

Earlier at Mondelēz International, he was Associate Director Marketing – ASEAN, based in Kuala Lumpur, where he led strategy, equity, innovation, and e-commerce across biscuits and chocolates categories. He also served as Associate Director Marketing – Chocolates, SEA, overseeing business performance, P&L, and brand strategy for Cadbury Dairy Milk and Toblerone across Southeast Asia.

His prior global experience includes senior innovation leadership roles in Singapore and Zurich, where he worked on global and regional chocolate platforms across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, and Latin America. Karwal began his career with Cadbury plc., holding roles across sales, brand management, and category management in India, after an early stint as Area Sales Manager at ConAgra Foods. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).
