Hartford, Connecticut, United States, December 2025 – Vilas Shah has stepped into the role of Global Head – Partnerships and Alliances (Insurance) at Infosys, with an expanded mandate that now also includes managing strategic relationships with deal advisors and industry analysts for the company’s global Insurance vertical. Based in Hartford, Connecticut, United States, he will focus on strengthening Infosys’ partner ecosystem and amplifying its market positioning across the global insurance landscape.
At Infosys, Vilas Shah brings nearly seventeen years of experience in building and scaling strategic client and ecosystem relationships. Prior to his current role, he served as Head – Partnerships and Alliances (Insurance NA), where he focused on establishing and nurturing a robust network of partners across hyperscalers, insurance-specific technology firms, cross-industry solution providers and insurtechs. Earlier, as Senior Client Partner (Senior Manager – Client Services), he managed multiple strategic clients in healthcare, reinsurance and P&C insurance, driving account growth, profitability and long-term engagement across the Greater Hartford region and winning internal recognition for account expansion and delivery excellence.
Before joining Infosys, Vilas Shah spent close to four years at LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech as an Engagement Manager, partnering with one of the largest P&C insurers. He was responsible for relationship building across multiple business lines and locations in the US and globally, overseeing P&L, shaping account strategy and helping set up multiple delivery centers across India to support large-scale client aspirations and growth.
Earlier in his career, Vilas Shah worked for about six years with Tech Mahindra Ltd in the United Kingdom as a Group Leader, managing multiple programs for BT using global delivery models. In this role, he oversaw distributed delivery centers, gained deep knowledge of telecom networks and exchanges, billing, validation and production support, and led resources, deliveries and stakeholder relationships for projects across regions, further strengthening his expertise in large, complex, technology-driven engagements.
He began his professional journey with around seven years at Tata Motors in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad region as an Assistant Manager, where he built and implemented systems to digitize manual processes for the Construction Division. This included inventory, billing, reporting and vendor reconciliation systems, leveraging domain knowledge of the construction business and laying a strong foundation in process automation—a capability that continues to inform his approach to scalable solutions and digital transformation for insurance clients today.
