Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Vishal Dashora has been appointed as Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, marking a strategic elevation in his career within the global consulting and advisory space. Based in Mumbai, Vishal will continue contributing to A&M’s mission of delivering value-driven transformation and high-impact investment advisory, particularly in logistics, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Prior to this promotion, Vishal Dashora served as Director at Alvarez & Marsal, leading multiple high-stakes projects related to investments and due diligence. Over the past two years, he played a key role in assessing complex asset portfolios and driving operational assessments for major clients in India.
Before joining A&M, Vishal was Associate Director at PwC India, where he spent nearly five years managing end-to-end investment and policy advisory for logistics infrastructure. His standout achievements include successfully partnering with a government agency to promote inland waterway logistics and leading performance improvement initiatives for clients in the pharmaceutical and automotive sectors.
Earlier in his career, he held the role of DGM – Logistics and Head of Shipping at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., where he led logistics operations across rail, road, and sea for over 25 MTPA of raw and finished materials. His work in conceptualizing coastal shipping strategies, post-GST logistics frameworks, and digital freight procurement earned him recognition for pioneering logistics efficiency in heavy industries.
Vishal also co-founded Pivot Consultants, offering advisory services for private equity, infrastructure developers, and government stakeholders in the transport and logistics domain. He began his consulting journey at TransCare Logistics, where he developed market entry strategies and logistics park business plans, serving both Indian and European clients.
He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), bringing a strong academic foundation to his multifaceted industry expertise.
