New Delhi, Delhi, India, March 2026 — Vishal Kaul has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Uno Minda, as part of the company’s strategic restructuring aimed at strengthening its leadership and scaling its aftermarket business. In his new role, he will focus on driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding the company’s presence across domestic and global markets, in line with Uno Minda’s broader vision of building a more structured and technology-driven aftermarket ecosystem.
Prior to this appointment, Vishal Kaul was serving as President & Business Head – After Market at Uno Minda, where he has been leading the company’s aftermarket business since December 2023. His journey within the organization has already positioned him closely with the strategic priorities of the business, giving him a strong foundation to now take on the top leadership role and guide the company through its next phase of growth.
Before joining Uno Minda, he served as Vice President and PL Head – Lighting Business at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited. In that role, he was associated with a major consumer-facing business and contributed to growth, portfolio leadership, and market expansion in a competitive category, further strengthening his credentials as a business leader with strong commercial and operational capabilities.
Earlier, Vishal Kaul spent over seven years at Samsung Electronics, where he held important leadership positions including Director – Content & Services, Consumer Lifecycle Management, Director – Smartphones, Tablets & Accessories, and Category Head – Smartphones & Tablets. During this phase of his career, he managed large portfolios, including a business in excess of USD 1 billion, while maintaining strong market leadership and driving growth in one of the most dynamic segments of the consumer electronics market in India.
A significant part of his earlier professional journey was with Nokia, where he worked across a range of roles including Global GTM Program Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Regional Manager – North (Smartphones), and Regional Sales Manager. His responsibilities spanned global portfolio management, go-to-market execution, product lifecycle management, category building, and regional sales leadership. Before moving into the technology and consumer electronics space, he also worked with Thermax, where he was involved in sales, key account management, and business generation through both customized and standard product and service offerings. He is also an alumnus of the Indian School of Business, where he completed a PGP in Strategic Marketing and Information Technology.
With extensive leadership experience across automotive aftermarket, consumer durables, electronics, product strategy, and large-scale operations, Vishal Kaul brings a well-rounded perspective to his new role. His diverse experience in managing high-value portfolios, building market leadership, and driving business growth is expected to further strengthen Uno Minda’s aftermarket capabilities and accelerate its long-term expansion plans.
