Coral Gables, Florida, United States, December 2024 – Viviana Callahan has assumed the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Latin American Agribusiness Development Corporation, S.A. (LAAD). In her new position, Viviana will oversee the HR strategy and operations to support LAAD’s mission of financing and developing private agribusiness projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Viviana has been an integral part of LAAD for over eight years, serving as Corporate Director of Human Resources. In this role, she successfully led the HR department, ensuring operational efficiency and continuity while implementing strategic initiatives to meet business needs.
Prior to her tenure at LAAD, Viviana was the HR Director and Owner of Callahan Digital Cinema, where she provided vision and leadership for the company’s HR operations, analyzing and managing functional activities to support organizational goals.
Earlier, Viviana worked as a Human Resources Consultant for Santander Private Banking International, where she provided strategic HR insights and solutions. Additionally, she served as Senior HR Manager at StateTrust Group, where she managed talent acquisition initiatives across multiple countries and collaborated with senior management on business planning and performance strategies.
Viviana also held the position of Regional HR Manager for the Americas at Sol Group Corp – Melia Hotels International, overseeing HR operations across Miami, Cancun, and Punta Cana. She earned recognition for her strategic HR contributions, including designing talent acquisition strategies, ensuring compliance with global policies, and leading training operations to enhance employee skills and development.
