Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 2024 – Waleed Alsayed has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Shared Services at Golf Saudi. With over 20 years of experience, Waleed brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining Golf Saudi, Waleed served as the Vice President of People at the Saudi Tourism Authority for 1 year, where he played a pivotal role in people strategy and development. At SPL, he contributed significantly as the Vice President of Human Capital for 2 years and as the Human Capital Planning and Development GM for 1 yr 6 mos, overseeing critical HR functions such as OD, Rewards & Performance, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics.
Earlier, Waleed was a Senior Consultant – Advisory at Korn Ferry for 1 yr 4 mos, aligning strategy with organizational structure and people. At WIS International, he served as Director of Operations for British Columbia for 10 months and as District Operations Manager for 2 yrs 11 mos, gaining significant leadership experience in the Canadian market.
In addition to these roles, Waleed held various key positions, including Area Operations Manager at Petromin Corporation and Marketing Manager Assistant at Reza Investment Company Ltd.
