Will Hernandez has been with Simmons Foods for over six years, where he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in human resources. His journey at Simmons Foods began in April 2018 as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, he was responsible for managing HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee relations. In January 2019, Will was promoted to Sr. HR Manager, where he further honed his skills in strategic HR management and employee development. His dedication and strategic insights led to his promotion as Human Resources Director in July 2022. As the HR Director, Will played a critical role in shaping the HR policies, leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, and driving organizational change.
Before joining Simmons Foods, Will had a long and successful tenure at Tyson Foods, where he served as Employment Manager for over 24 years. During his time at Tyson Foods, he gained extensive experience in recruitment, talent management, and HR strategy. His contributions significantly impacted the HR practices at Tyson, and he played a vital role in supporting the company’s workforce.
