Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain – November 2024 – Straumann Group has appointed Xavier Viladés as the new Head of People & Culture for Iberia and South Hub Europe. In his role, Xavier will oversee talent and culture strategies across the Iberian Peninsula and Southern European regions, fostering a cohesive and inclusive work environment that supports Straumann’s commitment to global excellence in dentistry.
Xavier has been with Straumann Group for over six years, most recently as a Senior Global HR Business Partner, where he provided strategic HR support at a global level, facilitating team alignment and HR processes across various regions. Prior to this, he served as Head HR Europe, where he managed HR initiatives for multiple European countries, focusing on workforce planning, organizational growth, and employee engagement.
Before joining Straumann Group, Xavier held the role of VP HR LATAM at Straumann Group – Neodent, overseeing HR operations across Latin America. His extensive experience in human resources leadership is complemented by his long-standing career with Nobel Biocare, where he held multiple roles, including General Manager for various regions and Territory Sales Manager. His work in these roles provided him with a deep understanding of international business operations and people management.
