In his immediate prior role at Reliance Industries Limited, Yash was part of the Battery Strategy team in the Chairman’s Office, where he was hand-picked for Reliance’s elite Accelerated Leadership Track (top 0.001%). He worked directly with the Group Chairman on high-impact strategic initiatives in the new energy and battery domain, contributing to the group’s long-term clean energy roadmap.

Before this, he was associated with GreenCell Mobility, where as Head – EV Procurement, he was part of the founding leadership team. He built robust procurement systems, forged long-term strategic partnerships with OEMs and infrastructure partners, structured water-tight commercial contracts, and delivered cost efficiencies while scaling EV procurement capabilities across India.

Earlier in his career, Yash spent nearly four years with Mahindra Group as Lead – Global Strategic Sourcing (eMobility), where he developed electric mobility supplier strategies for APAC markets, expanded global sourcing networks, introduced analytics-led spend optimization models, and drove measurable sourcing efficiencies across Mahindra’s EV portfolio.

Prior to Mahindra, he served with Daimler AG (Mercedes-Benz Group) as Manager, Strategic Sourcing, managing proprietary suppliers across Asia, leading digitalization and standardization initiatives, and delivering sustained material cost optimization programs for commercial vehicle platforms. He also began his professional journey with Infosys as Business Analyst – Automotive Industry and earlier as an Engineering Intern at ISRO, gaining foundational exposure to automotive analytics and advanced engineering systems.
