Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – Lumen Technologies India, a global leader in digital networking and cloud communication services, has appointed Yasmeen Shaikh as its new Head of Human Resources. In this pivotal role, Yasmeen will lead Lumen’s people and culture strategy in India, driving employee engagement, talent transformation, and organizational growth aligned with the company’s mission to redefine digital connectivity through human-centered innovation.
With over 20 years of HR leadership experience across major global organizations such as NextGen Healthcare, Infosys, and Informatica, Yasmeen has built a distinguished career in creating people-first cultures, driving transformation, and championing diversity and inclusion. Known for her empathetic leadership style and data-driven HR vision, she has consistently delivered business impact through organizational effectiveness, culture-building, and talent engagement programs.
Before joining Lumen Technologies, Yasmeen Shaikh served as Vice President – Human Resources at NextGen Healthcare India, where she co-led the organization’s transformation post-acquisition by Thomas Bravo. She was instrumental in integrating global HCM systems from Darwinbox and ADP to Workday, uniting teams across geographies while embedding a strong culture of collaboration and innovation. Her efforts toward employee engagement and remote work enablement helped strengthen the organization’s position as a top employer in digital healthcare technology.
Prior to this, Yasmeen worked as Director – Human Resources, India at Informatica, where she managed the full spectrum of HR operations for 1,000+ employees across R&D, professional services, and customer support. She also served as a Global HR Business Partner for the Customer Support business, leading transformation initiatives in performance management, compensation, and leadership development. Her work in redefining company values and culture during Informatica’s rebranding was widely recognized for its strategic and human-centric approach.
Earlier in her career, Yasmeen spent over a decade at Infosys Technologies Ltd., where she rose to the position of Senior Manager – HR, leading people strategy for Finacle, the banking product division of Infosys. She managed HR operations for 8,000 employees across 77 countries and implemented key frameworks such as iRACE, a global career architecture initiative developed in partnership with Mercer. She also spearheaded attrition control, workforce deployment, and alumni engagement programs, contributing to significant cost savings and improved retention.
Yasmeen began her HR journey at Ivega, where she gained foundational experience in talent management and employee relations, setting the stage for her future leadership roles. Beyond her corporate accomplishments, Yasmeen is an international badminton champion, having won gold at the All England Senior Badminton Championship in 2024, exemplifying her passion for excellence and perseverance both on and off the court.
A postgraduate in Human Resources Development from the Mount Carmel Institute of Management, Yasmeen continues to inspire with her commitment to purpose-driven leadership and empowering people to bring their best selves to work.
