Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2025 – Zakee Sheikh has been appointed as the Head of Talent Acquisition at Siemens Energy, marking an exciting milestone in his illustrious career. In his new role, Zakee will lead the organization’s talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent, supporting Siemens Energy’s mission to drive innovation and sustainability in the global energy sector.
Zakee brings over two decades of experience in talent acquisition and HR leadership. Prior to Siemens Energy, he spent over six years as Head of Talent Acquisition at Cummins India, where he played a pivotal role in creating and executing recruiting strategies, enhancing employer branding, and driving diversity initiatives. His leadership contributed to optimizing recruitment processes and building high-performing talent acquisition teams.

Before Cummins, Zakee held the position of Director – Talent Acquisition at KPIT, where he managed recruitment operations across India and Europe. During his eight-year tenure, he implemented innovative solutions such as a homegrown applicant tracking system and recruitment analytics portal, significantly improving the organization’s hiring processes.
Zakee also gained valuable experience as Recruitment Head at S2 Infotech and Calibre Scan HR Services, where he successfully managed large teams, developed strategic partnerships, and drove recruitment delivery excellence. Earlier in his career, he served as Location Head at Future Focus Infotech, overseeing operations and recruitment strategies for the Pune branch.
His professional journey began at Wipro BPO, where he led a team of technical agents and contributed to recruitment efforts for the Dell process, setting the foundation for his successful HR leadership career.
