Redmond, Washington, United States, June 2024 – Mia Huntley joins Microsoft as the new Director of Learning Design & Development. Mia brings extensive experience in learning and development and will lead the function to support the company’s strategic growth.

Mia Huntley joins Microsoft with a wealth of experience in learning services. Most recently, she served at Accenture for 10 years, where she led learning services for high-tech clients. During her tenure, Mia played a pivotal role in designing and implementing learning solutions that significantly enhanced client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Her leadership in developing high-impact learning programs has been instrumental in driving organizational success and fostering innovation.

Before her role at Accenture, Mia held various positions that honed her expertise in learning and development. She worked as a Senior Learning Consultant at Deloitte for 5 years, where she developed and delivered customized training programs for global clients. Her role involved comprehensive needs analysis, instructional design, and the implementation of innovative learning solutions that improved employee performance and engagement.

Mia also served as a Learning and Development Manager at IBM for 4 years, where she led a team in the creation and deployment of e-learning modules and blended learning solutions. She was responsible for managing learning projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving measurable outcomes.

Earlier in her career, Mia worked as a Training Specialist at Hewlett-Packard for 3 years, focusing on technical training programs for employees and clients. She developed curriculum and training materials, conducted workshops, and evaluated training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
