Farah Ali Appointed as Head of HR at Cedar Electronics

Schaumburg, Illinois, United States, June 2024 – Farah Ali has joined Cedar Electronics as the new Head of HR. With extensive experience in human resources management and strategic HR initiatives, Farah will lead HR operations to foster a high-performance culture and support Cedar Electronics’ growth.

Prior to joining Cedar Electronics, Farah served as the Manager, Global HR at CADDi from August 2023 to June 2024. In this role, she spearheaded a rapid transformation of HR operations, transitioning from an EOR-Deel Inc system to implementing the Namely HRIS within three months. She strategically evaluated and established benefits plans, navigated open enrollment, and enhanced employee satisfaction. Additionally, she set up a 401K program, revamped the hiring process, and updated policies to align with organizational objectives.

Before CADDi, Farah worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for over two years, where she held the positions of Human Resources Manager and Program Specialist – HR. She led all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compliance, ensuring a highly efficient and compliant HR operation. She also directed tax withholding processes, benefits administration, and employment regulations for foreign nationals, enhancing processes, policies, and tools to support engagement teams.

Farah’s earlier career includes her role as Program Manager- HR & Accounting at Symmetry Biosciences, Inc. for over eight years. She led and executed all HR functions at the start-up, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to policies and regulations. She prepared and reviewed critical documentation and HR policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Farah began her career as an Auditor at Deloitte in the Greater Chicago Area, where she reviewed financial information, performed audits, and recommended improvements to ensure the effectiveness of organizational internal controls.
