Philippines, June 2024 – Carla Batan has joined Penbrothers as the new Vice President of Talent Acquisition. With an impressive track record in global talent acquisition and people strategy, Carla is poised to drive Penbrothers’ recruitment initiatives to new heights.
Before joining Penbrothers, Carla served as the Director of Global Corporate Talent Acquisition and Global People Strategy at TaskUs for over five years. In this role, she was responsible for leading talent acquisition in SEA and India, ensuring fast recruitment services without compromising candidate quality. Carla drove team performance through operational excellence, standardized processes, and clear KPIs, and was a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion efforts. Her role also expanded to strategic HR initiatives, talent management, and performance management for the SEA region.
Prior to her tenure at TaskUs, Carla was a Senior Consultant for IT and Executive Search at Curran Daly + Associates for five years, where she specialized in IT and executive search across the APAC region. She also gained valuable experience as a Staffing Advisor (Project-based) at Hewlett-Packard, and as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II at TeleTech, where she honed her skills in recruitment and talent acquisition.
