Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States, August 2024 – Tawn Merrill has taken on the role of Vice President of People and Culture at Kimray, Inc. In this strategic position, Tawn will oversee the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and fostering a positive work culture. As a key member of the Kimray Executive Team, Tawn will have direct oversight over the People and Culture, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, and Internal Communications departments.
Before joining Kimray, Tawn served as Vice President of Human Resources at Marconi for over eight years. During this time, they led the development of HR strategies that fostered an open and compliant company culture and played a key role in strategic planning from an HR perspective.
At Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Tawn held multiple roles, including Director of Global Talent Management, where they led talent management strategies, and HR Manager in various capacities, contributing to leadership development, employee relations, and global HR operations.
Prior to Anadarko, Tawn worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Gondola Group, LLC for six years, providing HR consulting services to the non-profit sector, including designing reorganization strategies, creating employment practices, and conducting employee training sessions.
Earlier in their career, Tawn was the Director of Human Resources at Hillwood, where they directed HR, payroll, and internal communications, and managed employee compensation and benefits programs.
Tawn also held significant HR roles at AmeriServe Food Distribution and Pacific USA Holdings, where they were responsible for HR management, employee relations, and the development of HR practices and policies.
