Greater Hyderabad Area, India, September 2024 – Shibu Singh has been appointed as the Group HR Lead – India Business (Commercial) at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. In this role, Singh will lead the Business HR partnering function for the company’s Commercial business in India, Nepal, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. His responsibilities include driving talent management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team leadership to enhance productivity and manage change effectively.
Prior to his promotion, Shibu Singh served as the Human Resources Lead at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for approximately two years. In this capacity, he focused on building a robust talent agenda for the Global Generics business in India, demonstrating his capability in managing talent effectively within a global framework.
Before joining Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Singh held multiple roles at Cipla. He was the Head of Talent Acquisition, Hub Operations & Employee Relations for about a year and a half, where he managed a team of 15 and drove employee engagement and HR transformation initiatives. Prior to this, he was the Associate Director – Talent (Acquisition & Development) for over a year, overseeing pan-India hiring and development strategies for Cipla’s business. He was also a Senior Manager – HRBP for two years, where he managed HR functions for key business regions and introduced employee connect initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Singh worked with Landmark Group as an HRBP for approximately five years, managing multiple hyper stores and launching several key HR programs. He also gained valuable experience at Bata India Limited, where he served as a Talent Partner for over a year, focusing on leadership hiring and market mapping.
Throughout his career, Singh has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic HR capabilities, significantly contributing to each organization’s growth and HR transformation efforts.
