London, England, United Kingdom, September 2024 — Rhian May Cox has been appointed as the Head of People at Orchard Care Homes. In this role, Rhian will lead the people and culture strategies, focusing on enhancing employee engagement, recruitment, and HR processes across the organization’s 23 care homes. Her extensive background in human resources and recruitment will drive the development of innovative HR initiatives at Orchard Care Homes.
Rhian recently worked as a Human Resources Manager at Tao Group Hospitality for just over a year. In this role, she provided HR leadership in London, ensuring smooth HR operations, policy compliance, and a positive employee experience across the organization.
Prior to Tao Group, Rhian spent more than three years at Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited, where she held multiple HR roles. As a Care Recruitment Manager, she led a recruitment team responsible for staffing 38 care homes. Within her first six months, she reduced the vacancy rate significantly and launched the company’s first business recruitment campaign, resulting in an increase in recruitment success across various roles. Earlier, she served as a Human Resources Manager, where she focused on HR compliance, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
Before joining Signature Senior Lifestyle, Rhian worked as a Project Officer at Sydney Trains and an Area Trainer at Bupa, where she contributed to training material design, implementation, and compliance with healthcare legislation.
