Gothenburg, Sweden, October 2024 – Mi Nyberg Johnsson has joined Volvo Group as the new Vice President of Talent, Learning & Leadership. In this role, Mi will oversee leadership development, talent management, and learning strategies, driving initiatives to support the company’s global workforce in alignment with its future growth and innovation goals.
Before joining Volvo Group, Mi was the Vice President of Talent Management at Husqvarna Group for over six years, where she spearheaded initiatives in HR strategy and talent development on a global scale. She played a critical role in driving talent growth and implementing HR transformation programs that significantly enhanced organizational performance.
Prior to Husqvarna, Mi served as a Board Member at Bravura Sverige, contributing to strategic HR and leadership development initiatives within the organization.
Mi also spent nearly eight years at DeLaval, a world leader in the dairy farming industry. She held multiple roles during her tenure, including Director of Training and Development and Global HR Operations Manager, where she was instrumental in developing global HR strategies, fostering leadership capabilities, and implementing effective training programs across the company’s global operations.
Earlier in her career, Mi worked at Advalue Search as a Recruitment Specialist, focusing on talent acquisition for public sector projects, and at Bonnier Lexikon AB, where she served as Managing Editor and contributed to the company’s knowledge-sharing initiatives.
