Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2024 – Parimala Gowda has been appointed as the Head of Talent Acquisition APJ at Omnissa, where she will oversee the talent acquisition strategies across the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In her new role, Parimala will lead initiatives to attract and retain top talent, enhancing the recruitment process to support Omnissa’s rapid growth and expansion.
Before joining Omnissa, Parimala held the role of Head of Talent Acquisition APJ EUC at Broadcom for a year, where she played a key role in implementing recruitment strategies and supporting critical hires across the APJ region. Her contributions were pivotal in streamlining talent acquisition processes and aligning them with business goals.
Prior to her tenure at Broadcom, Parimala spent over three years at VMware as Head of APJ Talent Acquisition – R&D. In this position, she was responsible for driving recruitment efforts for research and development across the APJ region, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in talent acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Parimala served as Head of Talent Acquisition at Nutanix, where she led hiring strategies for the company’s growing technology teams. She also held senior talent acquisition roles at Citrix, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, Intuit, and Microsoft IDC, contributing to their talent strategies and building high-performing teams across various technology functions.
With over two decades of experience in talent acquisition and HR leadership, Parimala has established herself as a strategic leader in the field, consistently driving talent initiatives that align with organizational goals and fostering inclusive and innovative workplaces.
