County Donegal, Ireland, October 2024 – Anna Byrne has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging solutions. In her new position, Anna will oversee human resources strategy across Europe, ensuring alignment with ProAmpac’s core values of integrity, innovation, and sustainability.
Anna’s career at ProAmpac spans over two years. Most recently, she held the position of Human Resources Director for Ireland & UK, where she led HR strategy and employee engagement initiatives across the region. In this role, she played a key part in enhancing organizational performance and ensuring operational efficiency.
Before this, Anna was the Senior Human Resources Manager for Ireland & Wimbledon at ProAmpac, where she managed HR operations for multiple locations and oversaw employee relations and talent management efforts, further strengthening the company’s HR framework.
Prior to joining ProAmpac, Anna worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Vaultex UK Ltd, where she was responsible for developing HR strategies and managing regional HR functions. She also contributed to driving employee relations and aligning HR operations with business goals.
Earlier in her career, Anna gained valuable HR experience in the hospitality industry. She served as a Human Resources Officer at DoubleTree by Hilton, where she managed recruitment, training, and development activities for the organization. Additionally, she worked as a Cluster HR Administrator at Jurys Inn Hotel Group, overseeing HR processes for multiple locations.
Anna began her career in various roles in the hospitality industry, including positions at Hilton Garden Inn and Beach Hotel Downings, where she developed strong skills in employee engagement and customer service.
