Irvine, California, October 2024 – Pam DeMond has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer at Auction.com, the leading online marketplace for the sale of residential bank-owned and foreclosure properties. In her new role, Pam will be responsible for driving the company’s human capital strategy, fostering talent development, and supporting the organization’s continued growth. With a proven track record in HR leadership, Pam brings invaluable experience in HR transformations, compensation strategies, and organizational development.
Prior to joining Auction.com, Pam took a Travel Sabbatical from February 2023 to July 2024 after the successful acquisition of Illuminate Education by Renaissance Learning. This period allowed her to broaden her personal experiences while preparing for her next professional chapter.
Before her sabbatical, Pam served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Illuminate Education, where she was recruited to optimize human capital investments after the acquisition of six companies. During her tenure, she successfully integrated HR systems, implemented a new performance management system, and led post-acquisition integration efforts.
Earlier in her career, Pam was Senior Vice President and Head of Global Human Resources at Mavenlink (now Kantata). She played a critical role in scaling the HR function during rapid growth and successfully expanded the team, hired C-level talent, and developed compensation strategies that supported the company’s strategic goals.
