Santiago, Chile, May 2024 – Betterfly is thrilled to announce the promotion of Andres Liberman to Chief Product Officer. With nearly two decades of experience in finance, data, and information technology, Andres will lead the product development strategy at Betterfly, effective May 2024.
Career Journey at Betterfly
Andres joined Betterfly in March 2020 as Chief Data Officer, where he established and refined data strategies that aligned with Betterfly’s mission. He was promoted to Chief Information Officer in May 2022, where he oversaw the information systems and data management infrastructure. Andres’s innovative mindset and strategic vision helped build a robust tech ecosystem that contributed to Betterfly’s success. In September 2020, he also briefly held the role of Chief Financial Officer, where he managed financial strategies and growth plans.
His journey at Betterfly has been marked by excellence in data management, product innovation, and strategic leadership, culminating in his promotion to Chief Product Officer.
Previous Experience
Before joining Betterfly, Andres served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at New York University for nearly seven years. During his tenure, he imparted financial knowledge and conducted research that enriched the academic community.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an Instructor at Universidad de Chile and served as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan, where he gained significant experience in Latin American mergers and acquisitions.
