Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, September 2024 — Eagle Hills UAE has appointed Sarfaraz Agboatwala as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sarfaraz will oversee the financial strategy of the company, managing capital allocation, risk management, and financial planning to drive Eagle Hills’ ambitious projects across the UAE and beyond. His expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and financial advisory will play a key role in furthering the company’s vision of urban development and economic renewal.
Prior to joining Eagle Hills, Sarfaraz Agboatwala held the position of Director of Corporate Finance & Capital Markets at CLSA for over three years. During his time there, he was involved in originating and executing transactions across equity and debt capital markets, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory services.
Sarfaraz has a long tenure with CLSA, where he rose through the ranks, starting as an Associate in Corporate Finance and later becoming Associate Director. Over his 13-year tenure, he played a critical role in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and investment research.
Earlier in his career, Sarfaraz worked at YES BANK as a Manager in Investment Banking, where he was involved in private equity fundraising and strategic advisory for mid-to-large corporates. He also gained valuable experience at Trans Continental Capital Advisors and N. A. Shah Associates, where he built a strong foundation in investment banking, special situations investing, and financial due diligence.
