Kolkata, West Bengal, India, October 2024 — Suraksha Diagnostics is excited to announce the appointment of Durgesh Deshpande as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this pivotal role, Durgesh will lead Suraksha’s HR strategy, focusing on enhancing employee relations, talent development, and compliance across the company’s 50+ diagnostic centers. His extensive experience in HR management, employee relations, and change management will be key to driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Before joining Suraksha Diagnostics, Durgesh Deshpande was responsible for Employee Relations & HR Compliances at Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd for over a year. During his tenure, he focused on improving employee engagement and ensuring HR compliance across the organization’s operations in Navi Mumbai.
Prior to that, Durgesh worked as a Freelance HR Consultant, where he provided strategic HR consulting to various organizations for approximately six months. He specialized in HR excellence, statutory compliance, and capability building for HR professionals and business leaders.
Durgesh also held the position of Head of Employee Relations & Industrial Relations at GSK for nearly three years, where he was instrumental in transforming the company’s employee relations strategy and implementing HR best practices across its India operations.
Before his time at GSK, Durgesh served as Vice President of Employee Relations at UltraTech Cement, where he managed employee relations for nearly five years, overseeing 40 units and 30,000+ employees across India.
