Delhi, India – October 2024 – Dileep Joshi has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Okaya Power Group. In this position, he will lead the company’s global HR strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and HR transformation. He will be responsible for driving HR initiatives across Okaya’s various locations, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning HR policies with the company’s strategic objectives.
Before joining Okaya Power Group, Dileep Joshi served as Global CHRO at EPL Limited (formerly Essel Propack Ltd), the world’s largest specialty packaging company, for nearly 14 years. He was part of the leadership team, reporting to the MD & Global CEO, managing a team of 15 senior HR professionals across various countries. He was instrumental in rolling out HR strategies, setting up talent management systems, and implementing initiatives that improved employee engagement globally.
Prior to his role at EPL Limited, Dileep was the Vice President & Head of Human Resources at Essar Shipping Ports Logistics Ltd for over a year. There, he developed HR policies, managed large-scale recruitment, and relocated staff while enhancing performance management and learning systems.
He also held the position of Vice President – Corporate HR at Piramal Glass Ltd for nearly five years. He led HR transformation, implemented a performance and rewards system, and established a technical training center to develop new talent. His leadership contributed to the company’s transformation into a global leader in glass packaging.
Earlier in his career, Dileep was the Head of HR for Uniqema Business at ICI India Ltd, where he led HR efforts during the company’s transition to a specialty chemical business. His contributions included implementing competency-based HR systems, driving productivity programs, and managing industrial relations.
