India, December 2024 – Vivek Srivastava has been promoted to the position of National Head – Government Business at Aon Risk Insurance Brokers India Pvt Ltd. In his new role, Vivek will lead the government business segment across India, driving strategic initiatives, forging partnerships with public sector undertakings, and spearheading insurance solutions tailored to meet the needs of government clients.
Vivek Srivastava has been with Aon Risk Insurance Brokers India Pvt Ltd. for nearly 14 years, making significant contributions to the company’s growth and operational excellence. Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior Executive Vice President & Regional Head, where he successfully managed the Eastern Region, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and Assam. In this role, he played a key part in enhancing revenue, retaining clients, and mentoring teams.
Before that, he held the position of Executive Vice President, where he guided business development initiatives and acted as a thought leader in the power sector, offering innovative insurance solutions. His earlier roles as Senior Vice President and Vice President saw him leading operations during organizational transitions, establishing new offices, and strengthening client relationships across Eastern India.
Vivek began his tenure at Aon as Senior Manager, where he set up the company’s second branch in Eastern India and introduced the concept of insurance broking to corporate clients in the region. Prior to joining Aon, he gained valuable experience at ICICI Lombard as Area Manager – CSG & SME Group, focusing on SME sector penetration and large corporate client management.
