Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2024 – Ganga Ganapathi Poovaiah has been named India Marketing Head at Publicis Sapient, a global leader in digital business transformation. In this role, she will oversee the company’s marketing strategies to amplify its brand presence in the region, aligning with its vision for growth and innovation.
Prior to joining Publicis Sapient, Ganga served as VP, Head of International Marketing at Epsilon, where she spent over four years driving brand relevance and demand across global markets. Her work focused on leveraging data-driven customer engagement strategies, managing diverse teams, and addressing key industry trends such as first-party data, identity solutions, and loyalty marketing.
Before Epsilon, Ganga held the role of VP, Agency Practice at Epsilon, where she spearheaded the establishment of an offshore communications team supporting the agency’s Chicago headquarters. Her leadership extended across analytics, media, creative, and account management functions, ensuring seamless integration post-M&A.
Ganga also worked as Sr. VP & Branch Head at Orchard Advertising, where she was instrumental in delivering integrated campaigns across TV, print, and digital platforms for FMCG and B2B clients. Earlier, she served as Vice President at Ogilvy, leading key accounts including IBM and Lenovo, while managing campaigns across APAC and developing innovative customer engagement initiatives.
Her extensive experience includes strategic leadership roles at Vyas Giannetti Creative, Hewlett-Packard Global Analytics, and DDB Mudra Group, where she honed her expertise in marketing operations, analytics, and creative problem-solving.
