Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Vinay Binyala has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Route Mobile Limited. In this strategic leadership role, Vinay will oversee the company’s global strategic initiatives and drive innovation to strengthen Route Mobile’s position as a leading player in the cloud communications industry.
Vinay has been an integral part of Route Mobile Limited for over seven years. Prior to his promotion, he served as Executive Vice President – Strategy, where he spearheaded key business strategy and development initiatives, ensuring the company’s sustained growth and competitive edge. Before this, he held the role of Senior Vice President – Strategy, managing critical projects that contributed significantly to the company’s evolution in the CPaaS domain.
Before joining Route Mobile, Vinay was associated with YES BANK for over four years, where he served as Associate Director – Investment Banking and later as Vice President – Investment Banking, delivering impactful solutions across various sectors. His earlier career includes roles at Avista Advisory Group, Avendus Capital, and L&T Infotech, where he honed his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment banking.
Starting his career as a Software Engineer at MAQ Software and Accenture, Vinay transitioned into business strategy after earning an MBA from the Indian School of Business, demonstrating a remarkable shift from technology to leadership in the corporate strategy domain.
