India, August 2026 — Madhav Udyog Pvt. Limited (Madhav Group) has appointed Vikas Puri as Vice President – Human Resources. Puri brings extensive experience in HR strategy, industrial relations, talent management, employee engagement and people capability development, with much of his career spanning manufacturing and industrial organisations.
Prior to joining Madhav Group, Puri was associated with Ambica Steels, where he most recently served as Principal Partner – HR Strategy from May 2024 to March 2025. Before that, he had a long-standing association with the company as an HR Advisor from 2018 to 2024. Alongside his corporate assignments, he has also been associated with HR and Winning Studio as an HR Coach, reflecting his continued involvement in people development and HR advisory.
Earlier, Puri served as Head – HR at Continental Contitech India Pvt. Ltd., part of Continental AG Germany, from September 2015 to October 2016. He previously worked with Fieldking as Head – Corporate HR, where he managed end-to-end HR and industrial relations activities across two manufacturing plants and was involved in a greenfield project near Panipat.
A significant part of Puri’s earlier leadership experience came at DCM Engineering Limited, where he served as Head HRD for more than six years, from 2008 to 2014. His responsibilities centred on people capability development, talent management, employee engagement, employee involvement and employee relations, providing him with substantial exposure to the people requirements of manufacturing environments.
Puri holds an MPM & IR qualification from Jiwaji University, with a focus on Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration. His appointment at Madhav Group brings together his experience in manufacturing HR, employee relations, HR strategy and organisational capability building as the company continues to support infrastructure and industrial projects through its steel manufacturing and fabrication operations.
