Warwick, England, United Kingdom, January 2025 – Hannah Spencer has been appointed as the Chief People Officer – Strategic Infrastructure at National Grid, where she will lead people strategies to support the company’s critical infrastructure projects, talent development, and workforce planning.
Hannah Spencer has been with National Grid for approximately 13 years, steadily progressing through leadership roles in human resources and strategic people management. Most recently, she served as Senior People Partner – Strategic Infrastructure, where she collaborated closely with the executive leadership team on talent strategies and organizational transformation.
Previously, she held roles as HR Business Partner in both Electricity Transmission and System Operator units, where she was instrumental in driving people-centric initiatives, including workforce development and operational support. Earlier in her career, she also contributed as a Business Planning Officer and Project Coordinator at National Grid, building a strong foundation in business operations and human capital management.
Hannah Spencer holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (CIPD) from Coventry University, graduating with Merit, and a BA (Hons) in History from The University of Reading.
