Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has appointed Gayatri Yadav as its Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) of Strategic Initiatives. In this critical role, she will be part of the Chairman’s Office, working closely with Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani, and the Executive Committee to shape and execute RIL’s brand strategy, consumer engagement, and innovation roadmap.
Before joining Reliance Industries Limited, Yadav served as Chief Marketing Officer at Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA), where she led brand positioning, storytelling, and digital transformation strategies for portfolio companies across the region. Prior to that, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for India & SEA at Sequoia Capital, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening the firm’s market influence.

Prior to her tenure at Sequoia, Yadav spent over eight years at Disney Star, where she held leadership roles, including President, Consumer Strategy & Innovation and Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications. During this time, she played a key role in shaping consumer experience strategies and launching major entertainment initiatives.
Before Disney Star, Yadav spent 14 years at General Mills, where she served as Marketing Director, leading large-scale consumer initiatives and brand development projects. She began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she gained deep expertise in brand management, consumer insights, and marketing innovation.
