Greve, Region Zealand, Denmark, March 2025 – Jacob Rye has been named Chief People Officer (CPO) at LEMAN, a global leader in transport and logistics solutions. With an extensive background in HR leadership, talent strategy, and organizational development, Jacob will spearhead People & Culture initiatives, focusing on workforce transformation and leadership development.
Jacob joins LEMAN after spending over a decade at FLSmidth, where he held several leadership positions, including Vice President, People Center of Excellence. In this role, he implemented a new global talent acquisition model, introduced corporate leadership development programs, and led diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of HR for Europe, North Africa & Russia, overseeing regional HR operations, major business transformations, and M&A integrations.
Before transitioning into HR, Jacob built a strong foundation in supply chain and logistics management, holding senior roles at Metro Cash & Carry, Telenor, and Gambro. His ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and his deep understanding of SCM and operational efficiency make him a strategic asset to LEMAN’s leadership team.
