Hamilton, Bermuda, May 2025 – Karyn Peixoto has been elevated to the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Everen Group, a leading mutual insurance provider for the global energy sector. In her new capacity, Karyn will lead Everen’s global human capital strategy, shaping the organization’s talent development, culture, and organizational effectiveness across all regions.
Karyn has been with Everen since December 2022, previously serving as Director, Human Resources, where she played a key role in enhancing HR frameworks, fostering leadership capability, and driving employee engagement initiatives aligned with the organization’s expansion and evolving talent needs.
Prior to joining Everen, she spent over three years at Hiscox, where she held the role of Head of HR, Re & ILS in Bermuda. She was instrumental in supporting the reinsurance and insurance-linked securities business through strategic HR planning and cross-border talent operations.
Earlier, Karyn also served as HR Manager at Hiscox Re, where she managed core HR functions and helped scale HR services across multiple jurisdictions, contributing significantly to regional employee experience and operational effectiveness.
