Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Amrita Bharadwaj has joined Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) as General Manager – Human Resources. In her new role, she will play a pivotal part in leading talent strategies, enhancing employee experience, and strengthening HR business partnering, rewards, and talent acquisition across the company’s diverse retail and fashion businesses.
Prior to this appointment, Amrita served at L’Oréal India for nearly three years, where she led multiple people-centric initiatives as Senior Human Resources Manager. She was instrumental in shaping the total rewards strategy, leading compensation frameworks, expat management, diversity and inclusion programs, and employer branding projects with platforms like Great Place to Work and ET HR World.
Before her time at L’Oréal, Amrita had an impactful six-year stint with Tata Steel, where she held strategic HR roles including Senior Manager – HR Strategy and DEI Lead, HRBP for New Businesses, and Manager – Total Rewards. Her portfolio at Tata Steel included greenfield project setups, DEI policy formulation, culture transformation, and leading HR analytics and technology roadmap implementations.
Her strong analytical acumen and ability to align HR with business transformation make her an invaluable asset to ABFRL’s growing portfolio of brands and business models.
