With an extensive career spanning decades and a proven track record at leading companies like ThoughtSpot, Cisco, CloudBees, Arrcus, and Propelo (acquired by Harness), Sumeet brings deep expertise in AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and enterprise software innovation.
Prior to joining Teradata, Sumeet Arora served as Chief Development (Product and Engineering) Officer at ThoughtSpot, where he led the creation and scaling of the AI-powered analytics cloud platform from zero to $100 million in revenue. His leadership was pivotal in establishing ThoughtSpot as a market leader in enterprise-grade generative AI-powered analytics for private data environments.
Earlier, at Cisco, Sumeet Arora held several senior leadership roles over a span of more than two decades, including Senior Vice President and General Manager, Service Provider Networking, where he drove the business transformation from hardware-centric models to software-focused, profitable growth. His leadership helped turn around Cisco’s Service Provider business, launching billion-dollar product lines and dramatically increasing innovation velocity.
Additionally, Arora served as a Member of the Board of Directors at CloudBees and held advisory roles at Arrcus and Propelo, guiding agile product development, cloud-scale networking innovations, and strategic scaling initiatives. His entrepreneurial mindset and operational excellence have consistently helped organizations navigate and lead through fast-evolving technology landscapes.
Known for his strategic vision in AI, SaaS, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise infrastructure, Sumeet Arora will now lead Teradata’s global product strategy.
