Bhasin, who previously served as Director – Brand, Emerging Businesses & App Marketing, has been instrumental in driving brand visibility, expanding emerging businesses, and scaling app-based user acquisition strategies. Over the past five and a half years, he has successfully led integrated campaigns that combined brand equity building with robust digital performance, helping MakeMyTrip maintain its position as India’s leading travel app.

In his new role, he will focus on further elevating MakeMyTrip’s brand narrative and driving app performance marketing, aiming to strengthen the company’s position as a one-stop travel platform in a fast-evolving consumer market.

Before joining MakeMyTrip, Bhasin built his marketing acumen across diverse industries and geographies. His earlier role at AkzoNobel saw him delivering brand repositioning and driving growth for Dulux Velvet Touch, including launching award-winning innovations and activations.

His global exposure also includes valuable stints across London, Singapore, and India, giving him a unique perspective on scaling brands in varied ecosystems.

With over 11 years of experience, Bhasin is recognized for his ability to blend creative brand building with data-driven performance marketing. At MakeMyTrip, he will now leverage this expertise to lead impactful brand storytelling, optimize app marketing strategies, and drive user growth in the competitive travel and tourism sector.
