Ankur Seth Joins Mastercard as Director of Business Development

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Ankur Seth has joined Mastercard as Director of Business Development, adding a new chapter to his distinguished career in fintech, telecom, and digital commerce. With more than 17 years of experience, Seth has held leadership roles across dynamic organizations, including Revolut, udaan.com, Lendingkart, Samsung Electronics, and Airtel, where he drove growth, built strong partnerships, and spearheaded product innovations.

Most recently, at Revolut India, Seth served as Head of Partnerships, where he crafted strategic alliances that boosted revenue and expanded customer acquisition. His initiatives not only strengthened Revolut’s footprint in India’s fintech landscape but also demonstrated his ability to scale global brands locally.

Prior to Revolut, he was Category Lead at udaan.com, where he launched and scaled premium brands like Samsung and Apple, delivering significant revenue growth through a national distribution model. His expertise in building sales channels and partnerships drove revenues to over $2 million monthly.

Earlier, at Lendingkart, Seth took charge as Senior Director, where he built an offline activation business from scratch and drove impactful brand-building initiatives. His work in defining brand identity and enhancing PR visibility earned him recognition across the industry.

Seth also spent nearly six years at Samsung Electronics, taking on roles such as DGM Regional Marketing Head and Senior Manager Online Sales, where he oversaw marketing, product launches, and online sales strategies, generating business worth hundreds of millions in annual sales. His digital-first strategies resulted in exponential growth on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

At Airtel, where he spent over six years, he held several strategic roles across Airtel Money and Prepaid U&R, where he led customer acquisition, product marketing, and lifecycle management, achieving top rankings and awards for his innovative approaches and results-driven strategies.

In his new role at Mastercard, Seth will be responsible for strengthening strategic partnerships, accelerating digital payments innovation, and driving growth initiatives in India’s fast-evolving financial ecosystem.
