Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 – Arvind Fashions Limited has announced the appointment of Lakshmi Krishnan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She joins the organization with more than 25 years of global HR leadership experience spanning India, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom.

Lakshmi Krishnan brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, leadership development, culture building, capability enhancement, and large-scale people transformation across leading multinational organizations.
Before joining Arvind Fashions Limited, Lakshmi Krishnan spent over 14 years with Unilever across multiple senior global HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Head of HR, Corporate Functions — Unilever Headquarters, London, where she partnered with senior leadership teams across Finance, Legal, Communications, and Sustainability functions for a workforce of more than 7,000 employees globally.
Prior to her London assignment, she served as Head of HR, Global Procurement — Unilever, Singapore, leading people strategy for a €31 billion procurement business with over 1,500 employees and 60,000 suppliers globally. She also held the role of Global HR Director Asia Supply Chain, overseeing HR operations for 15 factories and nearly 10,000 employees across Southeast Asia and APAC markets. Earlier, as Global HR Director – Unilever Engineering, she managed HR responsibilities for a globally integrated engineering organization with a multibillion-euro operational scope.
Before her extensive tenure at Unilever, Lakshmi Krishnan worked with organizations including Lehman Brothers, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Apt Talent Partners, and Bedrock HR, building expertise across leadership development, people analytics, organizational effectiveness, total rewards, transformation management, and talent strategy.
Lakshmi Krishnan has also completed the CHRO Program from Wharton Executive Education and holds an MSW in Human Resources from University of Madras.
