Akshay Bardia Elevated to Managing Director at Accenture

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, June 2025 — Akshay Bardia has been elevated to the role of Managing Director at Accenture, effective June 2025. In this expanded capacity, he will continue to spearhead Data & AI initiatives for the firm, while strengthening client partnerships across the retail, consumer goods, and travel industries.

Since joining Accenture in 2023 as Associate Director & Canada Lead – Retail, Consumer Goods & Services, and Travel, Akshay has consistently delivered scalable, AI-powered solutions to Fortune 500 clients. His approach blends deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset, resulting in transformative outcomes for clients across North America.

Before Accenture, Akshay held progressive leadership roles at Mu Sigma Inc., where he was named the youngest Business Unit Head, overseeing P&Ls exceeding USD 10 million and leading a global team of 350 across five Fortune 500 clients. His success was marked by a 3X business growth through strategic sales and execution of high-impact analytics programs across Australia, Europe, and North America.

Previously, he served as Country Head for Australia at Mu Sigma and managed engagements as an Account Manager and Engagement Manager. His early career includes a nearly six-year stint at Fidelity Investments, where he led business analytics programs and developed machine learning models that enhanced decision-making for the executive leadership team.

Akshay holds a degree in Business Administration from Christ University and has also contributed as a faculty member conducting student workshops on consulting and communication skills. His unique blend of technical skill, business acumen, and empathetic leadership will continue to shape Accenture’s strategic transformation programs.
