New Delhi, Delhi, India, June 2025 — Sandipan Bhattacharyya has been appointed as India Head – Creative at Monks, the content, data, and digital media unit of S4 Capital plc. With over two decades of creative leadership across top-tier advertising agencies, Sandipan’s appointment marks a strategic move to elevate Monks’ creative ambitions in India and strengthen its foothold across South Asia.

Prior to joining Monks, Sandipan served as Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Grey South Asia, where he led the creative vision and execution across the region. During his nearly 10-year tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming Grey into a hub for compelling, award-winning campaigns. Before Grey, he was a foundational leader at BBDO India, contributing to the agency’s rise as one of the country’s most acclaimed creative powerhouses and spearheading campaigns for brands like PepsiCo, Hewlett-Packard, and Aviva.

His earlier experiences at Enterprise Nexus and Saatchi & Saatchi laid the foundation for his bold storytelling approach and creative innovation. Across each of these roles, Sandipan has demonstrated a consistent ability to integrate brand strategy with cultural insight and creative excellence.

At Monks India, Sandipan will lead creative delivery for marquee clients including Amazon, Tata Tea, and Bajaj, while scaling the team and championing experimentation and craft. His leadership is set to further align Monks’ India operations with S4 Capital’s global vision of tech-led, data-driven, and creatively powerful solutions.
